Tony Rose, the 2013 NAACP Image Award Winner for Outstanding Literature; Publisher/CEO, of Amber Communications Group, Inc., the nation's largest African American Publisher of Self-Help Books and Music Biographies, receives the "2014 Blacks In Government-Greater Orange County CA Chapter Award for Outstanding Contributions and Service to the African American Publishing Community", from the Blacks In Government-Greater Orange County, CA Chapter's 2nd Annual Literary Awards, at the Blacks In Government (BIG) 36th Annual National Training Institute, Bally's Las Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas, NV.

Presenting the award was Dr. Amicitia Maloon-Gibson, Author, "Growing and Empowering Future Leaders, Now!" and Farrell J. Chiles, Former Board Chairman, Blacks in Government.

The 2.5 Million membership of the National Organization of Blacks in Government was established in 1975, and incorporated in 1976 by a group of African Americans at the Public Health Services, a division of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, in Washington, DC. Blacks in Government is the nation's leading proactive public services organization focused on promoting equity, excellence and opportunity at all levels of government service. Whether Federal, State, or local Government, BIG is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity, training opportunities and career advancement for both civilian and military personnel throughout this nation and abroad.
